Altavista's role: As an agent between teachers and students, we provide proper opportunities for students to meet earnest teachers whom support effective lessons with materials and supply the best lesson plans. 

Lesson fee for Private Teacher:Every registered teacher may set their own hourly wage for a one on one private lesson. For additional students ,semi-private lesson, \1,500 is added to the teacher's own rate per additional student.Teachers are paid by cash from the students directly after every lesson. If a student requestsa receipt from a teacher, then one should be issued.

Trial Lesson: Students need to take a trial Lesson at the teacher's residence or other place to figure how the lesson and teacher are prior to the lesson. The teacher must let a potential student know what the lesson is and make clear the lesson fee, the transportation costs and other expenditures.

Place: Lessons will be held at the tutor's house. If the tutor cannot use his/her house for the lesson, it is possible to hold the lesson at a cafe or at the student's house.

The number of lessons: Lessons will be held 1 to 24times a month for one student. The lesson date and time are decided by an agreement between teacher and student. When a lesson cannot be held due to inevitable reasons such as transportation difficulties, a natural disaster, illness, personal events, or any other reason, adjustment of the mutual schedule is required in order to have students continue the lesson.

Cancellation:Students must let the teacher know of lesson cancellation 24hours in advance.  Teachers must also notify students of cancellation 24 hours in advance and reschedule the lesson for another day. However compensation for the canceled lesson does not occur.

Contract Term: A contract term of 3 months is required for each student. If the teacher cannot continue to teach due to unavoidable reasons, the teacher must let students and Altavista know at least 2 weeks in advance.

A case: Altavista Co.,Ltd bring an action to a district court names Tokyo Chihou Saibansho in Tokyo. When either person decides that an issue  can not be solved by the party concerned.

Responsibility: Altavista Co.,Ltd is not responsible for any personal conflict between students and teachers. Students have a claim to change their current teacher to new one in order to avoid further conflict. Each person (student, teacher and Altavista Co.,Ltd) should execute his or her own role with personal responsibility. Altavista Co.,Ltd is not responsible for teacher's injuries, illnesses, decease, accidents, a robbery and any other losses and damages. Altavista Co.,Ltd does not compensate registered teachers for injuries, illnesses, decease, accidents, a robbery and any other losses and damages. Altavista Co.,Ltd has no concern in each teacher's payment taxes on their own earnings, Each teacher must obey private international law and public international law and municipal law in Japan.
